Using KorfScore
KorfScore provides tools for setting up korfball matches, recording scores, sharing live match updates, creating match reports and managing club and squad membership through Clubs. You are responsible for the information you enter into the app and for checking that scores, teams, players and match events are accurate.
Accounts
Some features, including Clubs, require a KorfScore account. You can create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In or an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for any activity that takes place under your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not create an account on behalf of another person without their permission, or use KorfScore to impersonate any person or organisation.
Clubs
Clubs is an invite-only feature. You may only join a club by accepting a valid invite from an existing club member or admin. You must not share invite links with people who are not intended recipients, or attempt to gain access to a club you have not been invited to join.
Club admins are responsible for managing membership, including who is invited and who has access to club data. If you are a club admin, you should only add members who have consented to having their name and profile information stored within the club, and you should ensure appropriate permission is in place for any junior or youth players you add.
Please take particular care before entering information about junior or youth players. You should avoid adding junior player details unless they are needed for club management, match scoring or related KorfScore features, and appropriate permission is in place.
Member names and profile information are visible to other members of the same club. Please take care when entering personal details and avoid including sensitive information beyond what is needed for club management.
Best-Effort Service
KorfScore is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim to keep the app, live scoring, match reports and supporting services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation or permanent availability of any feature.
Best-Effort Data Storage
KorfScore may store account credentials, club data, match data, live match updates and report data using third-party services such as Firebase Authentication, Firebase and Firestore. Storage is provided on a best-effort basis and should not be treated as a permanent archive or backup service.
Data may be unavailable, delayed, corrupted, deleted or lost due to technical faults, network problems, software bugs, user error, third-party service issues, maintenance, security incidents or other events outside our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KorfScore is not responsible for data loss, missing match reports, unavailable live feeds, inaccurate stored information or any loss arising from reliance on KorfScore as the only record of a match.
Your Own Records
If match data is important to your club, competition or records, you should keep your own independent copy. This may include screenshots, exported information, written score sheets or other backup records suitable for your needs.
Live Matches And Reports
Live matches and reports may be accessible to anyone with the relevant code or link. Please avoid entering sensitive personal information into team names, player names, comments or match notes. If published information needs to be corrected or removed, contact us through the support page.
User Content And Moderation
You must not use KorfScore to publish or share content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, harassing, hateful, intentionally misleading or otherwise harmful. This includes content entered into team names, player names, comments, match notes, live updates, club details or match reports.
We may review, hide, remove, restrict access to or delete live matches, match reports, club content or account content where we reasonably believe it breaches these terms, creates a safety or legal risk, infringes someone’s rights, is offensive in nature, or could harm KorfScore, users or others. We may also suspend or block accounts where needed to protect the service or enforce these terms.
Third-Party Services
KorfScore may rely on third-party services, including Firebase, Firestore, AdMob, app stores, hosting providers and device platforms. Those services may change, restrict access, experience outages or operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of KorfScore after an update means the revised terms apply.
