What is KorfScore Live?

KorfScore Live is a cloud-based, real time text commentary on the updates your team are collecting in the KorfScore app. This means that if you’ve got players that can’t attend, friends and family that are interested in your teams performance or advertising Korfball to your followers on social media!

When KorfScore live is enabled we handle the text updates to your viewers based on your game recording in the KorfScore app, no extra work is required by your KorfScorer at the game. Just enable KorfScore Live and share the unique game code!

Do I Have To Use KorfScore Live?

KorfScore Live is in your control, no game data is uploaded to the database unless you toggle the switch in-app. This is handled on a game by game basis and is off by default. Importantly this does not affect data export or tracking, KorfScore core is not affected by KorfScore Live being enabled or disabled.

Will I Have to Register/Sign-Up for KorfScore Live?

Currently there are no plans to require registration for KorfScore live, all data is recorded & read with disposable authentication.

Data Retention of KorfScore Live Games

At this stage we’re not looking to store game data for extended periods, games will be locked between around 48 hours after the final whistle, then erased within 30 days. Ensure your KorfScorer at the game exports the data after the game.

How Can I Watch a KorfScore Live Game?

The KorfScore app will be the primary method of following of following the game. The KorfScore Live web-watcher is in constant development but isn’t as feature-rich as the app.

KorfScore Live Release Status

KorfScore Live is now in an open beta stage. You may find bugs and we’ll work to squish them. The web interface for KorfScore Live is under development and is considered pre-release at this stage.
